The Metropolitan Washington D.C. Synodical Women's Organization's Spring Convention is taking place on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Alexandria, Virginia.

Registration fee is $35 per person if you register before 4/8; after that date the fee will be $40. Deadlines are mail in by 4/14, electronic by 4/28, voting members by 4/8. Lunch is provided.

For first time attendees and attendees under 40 can take advantage of a discounted fee (by $15).

This year's convention, entitled "All Anew," will feature a worship service lead by the Reverend Sarah Scherschligt from Peach Lutheran Church and the Reverend Richard H. Graham, Metropolitan Washing D.C. Synod Bishop.

The day also features a plenary session with the topic "All Anew--The Women of the ELCA" lead by Churchwide Women of the ELCA President Patti Austin, as well as workshops including: "Gifts for You," "A Vision for the Future Church," "Introduction to Tai Chi" and "Women in Agriculture Around the World."
