Maundy/Thursday Service

Maundy/Thursday marks an important day in Christianity: it commemorates the Last Supper, and Jesus' commandment to his disciples, "I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another." (John 13:34)

Join us and learn more about our holy communion at our Maundy/Thursday event designed for adults and children in third grade or above. We will begin with a four course meal interspersed with readings from scripture and conversations about what Holy Communion means to us as, as expressed in our Lutheran tradition, as we grow in faith, in service to God and others.

Those who have received instruction are invited to participate in a reception to Holy Communion at the 7:30 p.m. service following the meal.
