Apostles’ Creed: An Adult Bible Study
Begins October 8, 11:15 a.m.
Starting on October 8, 2023, and meeting on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 11:15 a.m. in October and November. We will:
Focus on the continued relevance of the Apostles’ and Nicene Creed today
Look beyond the ancient wording to uncover underlying fundamental concepts of our faith
Consider how these two Creeds connect us with Christian believers across time (past, present, future)
Family Hayride
October 22, 3:00 p.m.
Join us at 3:00pm at New Jerusalem for a Family Hayride. Hayride leaves at 3:30 and we will stay on backroads close to church. Then return to New Jerusalem for a few children’s activities and a hot dog roasting and s’more making campfire in the fire pit.

The Prayground
From September through June, NJLC families can participate in The Prayground on the first, third and fifth Sundays of each month. Children will move to The Prayground after the children’s message and have the opportunity to learn about God through Bible stories, activities and crafts.
Communion
Communion is offered at every worship service. We welcome visitors who have communed in other congregations to commune with us. Anyone not prepared to commune is invited to step forward for a blessing. Wine is offered from the first chalice and grape juice from the second chalice. Ushers are available to assist you during the communion procession.

NJLC has many opportunities to become involved in our church and our community! From joining one of our fellowship groups, to participating in one of our many ministries, to helping greet members at the door each Sunday, NJLC is a community of people that stay connected.
